You know those days when you feel like you’ve left your brain at home? I think I’m having one of those days today. I’m tired, I had a busy week, and I just want to think as little as possible at this point. Luckily, I have a go-to workout that I fall back on when I’m limited on brain power and/or time. Rather than skipping my workout completely, I’ve tucked a quick little routine in my back pocket to use on such days:
- 25 Squats (use your body weight or weighted bar)
- 25 Burpees
- 25 Sit-ups (not crunches)
- 15 Push-ups
- Rest 30 seconds between each exercise
- Do as many rounds as possible in 25 minutes
- 5-minute cool down
And there you have it. Easy peasy! Not only does it keep me from lazing about, but it gives me a boost of energy as well.
