Spring is in the air and it’s time to get ready for bathing suit weather! I have laid out a great workout to get your summer legs ready:
- Run 400 meters
- 50 air squats
- Run 400 meters
- 40 air squats
- Run 400 meters
- 30 air squats
- Run 400 meters
- 20 air squats
- 5 minute cool down
In total: 1 mile run and 140 air squats! Holla!
What’s an air squat? Place feet hip width apart or just on the outside of hips. Keep your chest up, abs sucked in, and squat down till your legs are at a 90 degree angle. Get that bum low!!! Stand all the way up. Do these as fast as you can while keeping proper form. Complete the whole workout as fast as possible – get intense! Take minimal breaks between squats and runs… I’m talking 30 seconds or less.
