Hello! I hope everyone is having a great summer! I thought it would be a good time to update you all on my bucket list as it’s already July and the days are moving right along!
So number one on the list, go camping. Big check. Actually a couple checks. A few weeks ago we went up to Fairview, UT where Steve’s family has some property. We rode fourwheelers, fished, made smores, and enjoyed the fresh air!
I got these Protex Pawz for CC because she always gets burs in her paws. They look like little balloons (so adorbs) so I thought what the heck, I’ll try them out! Turns out, they worked AMAZING! CC gets major attitude when we put anything on her, even her harnes, so I was a little worried she’d sulk and hate these. She barely even noticed they were on. I think she even liked them because they helped her feet. There are tons of different sizes, I highly recommend them to any dog owner!!
Next, number 12 on the list was ride the motorcycle. We’ve been doing just that! Last weekend we rode up with some friends to Park City and went to the Park Silly Farmers Market. It was the perfect day. I’ve also been making Steve take me to brunch on Sundays and mini rides when we get home from work to destress.
Number 7 on the list was attend the Blogger Potluck Janetha hosted. Last Saturday we went to Liberty park, had lunch, and got to know fellow bloggers. It was so much fun and a great turn out! I didn’t get many pictures because I was busy chatting it up!
I loved meeting new people and I hope we can all get together again! The food was amazingly delish… which I wouldn’t of expect any less from these healthy bloggers… and the day was perfect!
Steve and Neil (GPP) didn’t stop talking the whole time. Putting two Chatty Cathys together makes for a loooooong convo.
By the end the dogs were beat. Stella passed out on the way home.
The 23rd item on the list was to go all out on the 4th of July. Done and done! The 4th is our absolute favorite holiday. We go to Steve’s parents house and have a combined party with the neighbors. There’s food, family, fireworks, and non-stop fun. This year we went over on the 3rd to have our party so we could all go out on the 4th.
I should also mention that Steve loves to blow things up. He sure knows how to put on a show!
It’s no wonder Steve loves to put on a show…look at that audience behind him!
All the kiddies watching Uncle Steve do his thing!
When we got home CC and Stella were exhausted and needed to cuddle up. Love them!
On the actual 4th we went for a motorcycle ride, went to brunch, took a nap, made dinner, set off some fireworks, and headed to the mountains to get a view of it ALL!
This is kind of a crappy picture but it was so much fun seeing all the fireworks going off at the same time. I couldn’t believe how many there were! All along the valley you could see firework after firework. And we got to see three finales! The best part, of course.
Number 30 on the list is to learn something new. I’m not going to stop with just this one new thing I learned but I have to share it because it’s just that awesome. I love glitter polish but the pain of removing it almost makes me want to forget about it. I found the very best way to take off glitter nail polish and I need to pass along this gem of information
Cut up 10 squares of tinfoil, tear off some cotton ball and soak it in nail polish remover. Put the cotton on your nail and wrap the foil tight around it. Let it sit on there for at least 5 minutes. Pull off the foil; you may need to just run the cotton ball along the edges but everything will come off! It’s so easy!
Well that’s my update so far! It’s been a great summer and I can’t wait to keep moving on down the list!
Q: What have you accomplished on your summer bucket list?
Q: Have you learned something new recently that you need to share?!

HOLY CRAP. Thank you for that tip! I usually just peel off glitter polish. Bad news.
Looks like you’ve been having a great summer so far! I need to update on my bucket list. I’m plowing right along!
