In today’s day and age everyone is aiming for weight loss and trying the next fad diet or workout program. Many people are sold on the quick and easy fix to their problems. If you are looking for long term weight loss that will STAY OFF, you have got to put in the work. Working out and training hard and adapting healthy habits is the only fix. But as a fitness model and exercise enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for the best exercises that give you the greatest results in the shortest amount of time.
The best way to burn the optimal amount of calories is to work out multiple muscle groups in the same exercise. Doing just abdominal crunches or bicep curls is great for isolating that individual muscle group, but they will not help promote fat and weight loss as much as complex exercise movements. If you are looking to lose belly fat and promote overall weight loss, you have got to stick with full body movement exercises that are both challenging and complex. That will be your best bet at burning calories at a fast rate.
Full body movement exercises work so well because you are training multiple body parts, as well as training large muscle groups. The large body groups that you train while doing full body complex movements are your chest, back, quadriceps, and hamstrings. These are the large muscle groups that you want to train and work hard to promote the optimal amount of weight loss and muscle gain in the right places.

All of these exercises, if done properly, are great for weight loss and increasing your overall fitness levels. Remember – if you want weight loss results, you have to work hard and the best exercises to do this are full body movement exercises!
Top Full Body Movement Exercises:
Burpees. Everyone loves to hate burpees, but they are fantastic in promoting overall fitness as they involve the quads and chest. Some variations even involve doing a squat jump! These are one of my favorite exercises for rapid fat loss.
Mountain Climbers. Mountain climbers are great for working the shoulders, chest and promoting strong leg drive. A few sets of mountain climbers and you will be exhausted! Great for any fitness enthusiast looking to lose weight and burn the optimal amount of calories per workout.
Barbell Deadlift. This exercise is great as it works pretty much your entire lower body and places strong emphasis on the back, as well as secondary muscle groups such as your deltoids, biceps, and triceps. One of my favorite go-to exercises to burn fat and build muscle!
Bench Press. The bench press is the holy grail of upper body complex movements. It is the king of the pectorals, and it helps to work out your triceps, shoulders, abdominals, and back. If you want quick results, you have to keep your repetitions slow while maximizing your time under tension.
